Yesterday was Garets Birthday, my little brother, not so little, my younger brother.

(seriously he's 6'2" I hit his belly button)

He turned the big 25.

I waited to post till today, so I would have some pictures to include.

I can get more info later, but if anyone wants one, good for scanning older photo's, and for blogging. Then let me know, he said $100 for both.

Whats Going On.....

This is a post about some of the things that are going on, and some things Jaimen is doing right now.

Last Friday, Jaimen's babysitter Missy called me and told me that an opportunity had come up for her to get a really good job at an insurance company, and that they wanted her to start on Monday, uh yesterday. She did have an obligation to give 2 weeks notice, but she had also lined everyone at her daycare up with her sister-in-law's daycare. I personally didn't want her to loose this opportunity to better herself, and her life. Mainly because she had Shelly, who was going to watch Jaimen, and all the other kids that he had been with for almost a year now.

Jaimen is my world, and it frightens me to have to trust someone else, but Shelly is AWESOME,

she does in-home pre-school in the fall, so she has tons of stuff for the kids, and she loves the kids, and is excited to do activities with them, and her kids love all the kids too.

So THANK YOU MISSY!!!

We Love You very much and want what is best for you.

I completely understand the situation, and any good Friend would want you to be happy. That's the thing with all this, Melissa became, not only Jaimen's second mommy, but a friend to me. A really close friend, and I just don't want to loose that.

I know that he will be happy at Shelly's, I have no doubt at this point. I dropped him off and he was so happy to be playing with all the other kids.

Its just change and some of us adjust to change differently, and I will get used to it, but it might take me some time.

On with the post...

We went to Pineview Damn on Saturday, and the wave runners SUNK!!

Okay super funny, I nor Alan thought about PLUGS, so we were told by my dad, who had gotten them all ready without accepting help from me, that they were Ready To Go. Well we got up there and I didn't know how to launch them, and I am so afraid to try something new and look stupid so I made Cole launch for me. So him and Alan were riding over to the Cove, where we were headed on the boat, Joey's nice boat, and once they got in the cove and slowed down, the water started pouring in. Alan was swimming and pulling the dang thing behind him, with only the nose of the wave runner showing, and soon after Coles went down, I knew I had him ride it for a reason, what would I have done? Nothing, I can't pull a fish to shore let-alone a wave runner. So they got them up, drained them out and put a plug in it.

That was exciting. Should have gotta picture, but water and camera's don't mix.

Father's Day was nice, I swear Alan is the best Father out there. I am sure all of you will agree with me that your husbands or baby daddy's are the best. (When I say husbands and baby daddy's I don't mean you have multiple husbands or baby daddy's, unless you do, that's cool too.)

I was gonna do a post on Fathers Day of all the reason's Alan is a great father to Jaimen, but with all the chaos in my head I just can't start listing things out. I will do a post on anther day, I do not need a "holiday" to tell why he's great.

Well here's a shout-out to all the baby daddy's that come home and take care of what you helped make, or at least try to help.

Were Home!!

Well we started the weekend off like much like someone else I know, like a herd of turtles, but we got there and had an awesome time! (BTW I am going to use that expression now. )
Well we wanted to leave here by 5:00 on Friday at the latest, we didn’t leave till 6:30 so we arrived there when it was dark.(Alan can’t stand taking time to get somewhere, especially out of town. It took us nearly 3 ½ hours when usually it would take us 2 tops.) So when we finally got there we just got stuff ready for bed and everyone else slept while I was kept up by the worst new R&B songs ever made, and idiot drunk people flying past our motor-home to get to Sand Mountain. (What it sounds like, a mountain of sand, it just happens to be the one where everyone parks, and people are obsessed with going up it)

Oh yeah, and I could totally kick any ones butt up that Mountain of Sand!

It rained early Saturday morning, so when we woke up everything outside was wet and we had to let out 5 dogs to go potty, and Jaimen was getting pretty stir crazy from being inside all Friday night and Saturday morning. Good thing it quit shortly after breakfast, or we all would have gone crazy.

Saturday was a little chilly for me, but we got some good rides in. I had alot of fun, and it was nice to get away from home and the usual routine. So here are some picture of the weekend. I would make a slide show, but that just takes too long to load.

I didn't get a cute picture of Jaimen in his new helmet, that proves to be more of a pain to the person he is riding with, but take my word for it, he's cute in it. And Safe!

We’re Going to the Sand Dunes!!!

Yeah!! I am so excited! I have been riding 4 wheelers since I was 14 and I still love it so much. The first time I went after I had Jaimen was when he was 3 months old. It was also the first time I had left him, and only for the day. I cried my eyes out. The time after that I was riding, fast, like I like it, and I realized if anything happened to me Jaimen wouldn’t have a mommy anymore. So I rode like a wussie, or like a girl.
Well this time Jaimen gets to come with us, and I am so excited to see if he likes it or if he freaks out. We have a little helmet for him, and a harness to strap him onto us, we aren’t going to get crazy with him, but just want to take him on a small ride with us.

I have had it since I was in 9th grade, time for a new one?
They quit making Banshee’s so I can’t buy a brand new one, plus this one means something to me & its super duper fast.

This is Garet & Troy doing something to Garet's bike.

You would think I would know what they are doing, after being around this pretty much my whole life. But I don't I just let the boys and men fix things, and I stay clean.

Garets been racing motocross since he was 12, I will post some pictures next time I think of it. He used to be the top pro in Utah, but he quit for a while to be a good boy and finish college.

We are going with my dad, Dainta, and Garet, and don't forget the dogs, 7 DOGS!!

This will be our first "family" trip since Hawaii.

This time we are all staying in the same motorhome, so it shall be interesting.

I will post all my cute pics when we get back.

We went to Miller Motorsports Park to watch the Super-Bikes race on Sunday.

Really, not my cup of tea. But they go way fast, its pretty amazing.

General Admission ($45) gets you a whole lotta fighting for a 6" space on the grass to sit or a spot along the fences, standing either on blacktop, or dirt to watch bikes that you can barely see. Okay maybe I should have worn my glasses, but it was sunny people.

And I have to apologize to Alan for not being in the best of moods.

I had a migraine before we even left the driveway.

The second race had a few battles so that was cool.

We missed the wrecks, so that wasn't cool.

What??

Well not to exciting, no bruised, broken noses. Although it is still kinda black and purple.

All in all, I hardly spent any money because Tiff paid for movies, the tickets for the races were given to Alan from work, and we already had a full tank of gas in the car.

Shoulda gone to Vegas.
