Presley

Well here it is, the big post about Presley.

When we left the hospital she had gone from 6.9lbs to 6lbs.
At her one week appointment she was already 6.11lbs.
At her two week appointment she was at a whopping 8lbs!! In one week!!
So needless to say she is eating great!

We are adjusting well. Jaimen is not jealous at all, although we did notice a bit of jealousy last night, towards Alan. He got a little upset and acted out when Alan was cuddling with her, but when I have her, he could care less.

She eats every 3 hours, even at night, so I am tired, but do get some sleep. She seems to sleep all day, so I have to fight her to stay awake so she will sleep better at night.
I can't believe how much she looks like Jaimen, it kills me! The only difference between them is she is a she and she has dimples. Other than that, they look identical to one another. One day I will post a comparative picture of them, it will blow you away.
Presley is a very calm baby, so different from Jaimen.

I am recovering from my c-section well, I think its better the second time around. Although I don't remember the pain being that bad the first time, but I am sure it was.

We got our pictures taken when she was 6 days old, so I will post them when I get them back, you should be excited, they are beautiful!

Well I think that catches you up for now. I don't have much time to put into posting, so here are all the pictures.

Jaimen finally stopped coughing and snotting all over so he got to meet Presley when she was 3 days old. He loved her! Kept giving her kisses, and softly stroked her cheeks, and gave her the pink elephant he picked out for her.

2 nights after we came home, Alan was putting Jaimen to bed. After his story he usually requests I come in and give him kisses, but this night, his request was for Presley.

This is soooooo cute I can't stand it! She is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! Perfect in every way.

And I had to throw this in, Alan and Jaimen mowed the lawn last night, came inside and said "look out the window" and this is what I see.

It's a beautiful baby girl!!!

We are finally here, "wait, take a picture of me before we walk in" is what I was told. I took a couple steps back and snap.....weird, can't see anything but Lynsie and darkness. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it is 5:45 in the morning.

I couldn't imagine what was going through Lynsie's mind at this point, already checked in and filling out paper work. It was only going to be a few more minutes and she would be walked back to the O.R. She just looks so............"Ready" right? Or maybe a little irritated with the fact that I was taking pictures of her filling out paper work? I was told to take a lot of pictures, so I did. I'm lucky to still be alive after that look!Well, after a couple hours of Lynsie filling out paper work and me completely freaking out, Presley Flinders was born.

Look at how freaking cute she is. When we had Jaimen, I took this same picture of him, it is right after they give them a bath. Look how calm she is, Jaimen was purple from screaming.Ok,ok that's enough pictures dad, your starting to act like mom, knock it off!

I'm just kidding honey. Hehehe.

Poor little Jaimen, he is sick so this is the only way he gets to see his baby sister. He doesn't quit realize that the baby on the other side of the window really is his baby sister, all he said was "look baby move." I can't wait till he can actually hold her, he is gonna big a great big brother.

Presley Flinders

Presley Flinders was born at 8:07 today, April 3, 2009.

She is a beautiful, blonde haired, 6lb 9oz, 19" baby girl. Lynsie and Alan are very excited and happy.

I am excited and happy as well. I finally have a niece that I can watch over and protect, well, help her brother at least.

Lynsie will be back to let you all know the details of her joyous day.

I can't wait.

Well I can because I have to, but seriously it is less than 2 days away!! I am starting to freak out.

As I promised here is a cute picture of Jaimen and 'baby siser'



He loves her. He is obsessed with her to say the least. She gets kisses before anyone else when he walks into a room.

This morning I asked what her name was and he said:

"I named baby siser PRESLEY"



Isn't it beautiful??
I think so.
Jaimen of course thinks so, because he thinks he came up with it.
Alan... I'm not so sure, it was a compromise on his part.

So there you have it, we just barely decided on that name, so I haven't been holding out for too long. I was going to put her name in her room and take a picture and show you that way, but I can't find the right letters to fit in her super duper shabby chic room. I like the diaper cover though. Maybe I should have one when she turns one. Put it under a tutu, and hand her a wand. Maybe I should think of that after she is born huh?
Maybe I think to much.

So this is my last post for a while, and I mean a long while, we have no computer at home.
Alan will try to post pictures of the baby as soon as he can get to a computer to do so.
