Alpaca's

I have been meaning to do a small post on these cute fella's for foorreevveerr now. So I found a few minutes and had nothing better to write about so here are a few pictures of Alan feeding his Parents Alpaca's.

They are so cute, they remind me of crazy skater boys wearing fur boots.

If you care to know more about these cute creatures click here. (Its way to much for me to re-write in here)
Alan read somewhere when he was researching them that you can call them by name and they will come. Of coarse after they get to know their name, like a dog. Pretty cool huh? Also after they get to know you, they like being pet on the neck and back, again like a dog.

See you learn something new everyday.

Cookie Monster

I have a MONSTER on my hands.... a COOKIE MONSTER

I did not create this monster, no I would never take credit for this...

Plus lets face it my floors are not that good looking, nor is my pantry 1/2 that size.

This is what Jaimen's Nana & Papa do, they let him walk around with cookies, any kind of cookies, any time of day, for however long he pleases. So at their house I will let him be a monster, one that I would rather not deal with. (He can spend the night with his sugar high too, oh and wake you up at 7:00 after going to bed at 12:00)

At home however, I pulled out Nilla Wafers this weekend, and he was completely shocked that it came from our pantry. I don't give him cookies, and candy, and junk so he doesn't expect it at home. I don't even give him juice, nope its milk, and water for my boy.

That's all I've got.

Friday we bought this....
Love it!!

Alan has been wanting one to drive back and forth to work, so we started looking. I decided that we shouldn't spend money on something that I can't get on the back of or on something that is older and has to many miles.

So this is a 2006 Suzuki S50, perfect for both of us.

We always talk about getting nice cruisers and going cross country when we are older, but were getting closer to that everyday.
Eventually I want a bike of my own, preferably pink, but I can wait.

So Saturday morning I went to Farmer's Market with my madre

I was disappointed that they didn't have any fresh fruit, flowers, or vegetables, but I got a super cute watch for an arm and a leg, but you can pick your face, and then band, and you can mix and match them all. Pretty cool, and if I buy 5 I get another 1 for FREE!!

We met a really interesting couple who travel the world and take photographs and then print them on canvas. They remember where each picture was taken, and the events that took place when they were there. My mom bought some prints from them, all taken in Italy. That is my lifetime goal to one day travel the world and get to know places so well that I know the locals by name, and they know me. And yes these people have children, all grown and started families of their own, but they were smart, like me, and saved for retirement. Obviously saved well.

Isn't she interesting, I am sure she has a story to tell.

There was this guy, who at first my mom thought was a girl, with a beard?? really??

Then there's Lorna (that is really her name) and her pet iguana, Brutus. I met her about 9 years ago, she lived by some friends of mine in these ghetto apartments, and ever since, she is everywhere I go. She used to work on 2bitstreet (as my Grandpa still calls it) back in the day when that was legal, or was it, well when they had the underground tunnels active to go back and forth from bar to bar.

First time I have ever heard my grandpa say 2bitstreet was Saturday, and I laughed my butt off. I know that's what they used to call it but when I talk to my grandpa we just talk about whats going on in our lives, and I never really get to hear him really talk.

I was absolutely amazed that mom didn't buy any seafood from this "Wild Grown" Seafood stand. Speaking of, are you ever going to share that shrimp you brought back from Seattle??

Here is a painted horse, they are all the way up and down 25th street.

After all that jazz we went on a little ride up the Ogden Canyon

to The Oaks and ate some yummy lunch outside. We got to sit in the most secluded little table surrounded by tree's and brush and whatnot, I am sure there was a small critter running around. You had to step down 5 steps to sit and we could see no one, it was awesome!

And here is my super enthusiastic husband. Doesn't he look like he wants someone to shoot him? Super glad your happy to be with me honey.

He told me that I was acting like we're from Wyoming because I was taking pictures, doesn't he know my fellow bloggers need to see what we are doing every waking moment?? Seriously honey, they need to see us too.

Muh Ah I've been tagged!!!

Wow Jen, you feel popular, not as popular as I feel!! I am so giddy I can't stand it.
I have never been "tagged" I think its like never being "kissed" isn't it??

Well here I go now you might know a little more about me, and who I really am.... well hopefully you will.
10 years ago....Lets see I was 16!!! Going on 17, loving every minute of driving and rear-ending people. Well I wouldn't say I was loving that part of it, but I thought I'd throw that in there. Oh yeah and Josh Clifton was soooooo in love with me because I drove a Nissan Pulsar with a MAACO paint job (because I wrecked it) and T-Tops Baby... yeah!!!

5 years ago...Oh this is a good one I was 21 and still hadn't been to Vegas or Wendover, the two places sinners are supposed to go for their 21st birthday, or the bar, but been there, done that, not my cup of tea. I had been dating Alan for 2 years, and we were living in the most ghetto apartment, where might I add that poop, yes human poop, came up out of the kitchen sink, we moved shortly after, and no we didn't re-use our dishes. Ugh that makes me tremble inside...
Hence the reason for not being able to afford an extravagant trip to Las Vegas, we had to clean up poop.

5 months ago...February. Well to the exact day I was blogging about Jaimen being able to read and being the smartest little sh** I know... oh and I was probably giving Jaimen some form of medicine (which never works) for some type of sickness that he most likely picked up from the grocery store after I disinfected the entire cart so that he wouldn't get sick.

List of 5 things that I need to do tomorrow...
Um Saturday... not much going on, but I'll try
1. go for a ride on our new cruiser motorcycle, I'll post a picture once we pay for it later today and I can really call it ours
2. clean??? lets see if that one happens, I doubt it but cross your fingers
3. eat, eat like 3 meals a day, since I haven't been because I have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Ohhh I think maybe we'll go to The Oaks for breakfast or lunch, that sounds delightful
4. Go pick Jaimen up from Nana's house, he gets a fun sleep-over tonight
5. Try my hardest to not get a migraine, speaking of, already have one now.

5 bad habits...
1. like Jen, I swear like a drunken sailor, well probably not like Jen, she doesn't really say the bad words, which I do, I should stop that
2. picking my nose....hehehe
3. being semi-lazy whenever I get the tinniest little chance
4. yelling at my dog when she starts barking to get in the car, she's just excited, I should calm down
5. I never get up on time

5 places I have lived...
1. Pleasant View, UT
2. Brigham City, UT
3. Plain City, UT
4. Harrisville, UT
5. O-Town, UT

5 things people don't know about me...
1. I pick my nose, well I guess I kinda let the cat out of the bag on that one a little earlier
2. I found out my parents were getting a divorce when my dad didn't come home, I asked and then I was told.... oops forgot to tell me
3. When I was young (like 5th grade) me and my brother stayed home alone all summer. Our dad would keep cash in the top drawer, we called, he said go ahead and go to the little store. He didn't know that all he had in cash was $100 bill, so we spent alot, on crap, lots and lots of crap...
4. I want a street bike of my own one day, and I want to ride across country to all the big "bike" events. Not a bullet bike, a cruiser
5. I danced when I was little, and didn't like the teacher, so instead of just quitting I found an arm brace in my parents closet, put it on and went and told the teacher I couldn't dance anymore because I was hurt. Needless to say she called my mom to ask what had happened and I am sure I got in big trouble for that one.

People I am tagging: Katy Morgan (Little Lythgoe), Tiffany, and Jamie... now come on guys and let me know more about you

Its cool, I read all of your blogs, daily, or at least weekly, and you cant do me the same. Its cool, I get it.. just kidding. love everyone who does read my blog.

Anyways.... on with the post

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIFF!!!

(sorry about the one picture Tiff, but I love it)
Today is my BEST friends Birthday and I just want to write a little about her.
Tiff is awesome! I love her to death, and would do anything for her, just the kinda friend I am.... awh... okay, okay, about Tiff....
We met Tiff right before we got married, just a couple months in fact. To this day I regret not inviting them (Tiff & Bob) to our wedding, regardless of just meeting them. It was such a special day for us and I really wish we could have shared it with them, had we known how good of friends we would become. But we did get to go to their wedding which was 3 years ago in 6 days. ha.. tiff now I am becoming a human calender, just like you.
When I first met her I thought she was going to be that "snobby girl" you know the ones that were super popular in high school, and had all the cute friends. Well that wasn't me, and frankly I didn't like those girls, till I met Tiff. She was super popular, still is, and she is not snobby at all, she is awesome! She truly cares about me and my life (have never had a friend like that). (At this point I am pretty sure I am more invested in this, but that's how I am)

Tiff is also an amazing mother, and wife. If anyone knows what she has gone through, and will continue to go through her entire life, you will know that she is very amazing. Not everyone takes what they are handed and embraces it the way she has.

Tiff I love ya to death!
